MOSCOW, 15 August (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoi met with Deputy Head of the Russian President Administration Dmitry Kozak on 15 August, BelTA has learned.
Dmitry Krutoi and Dmitry Kozak exchanged opinions about a broad range of matters concerning Belarusian-Russian cooperation and integration interaction. Topical matters concerning the domestic political agenda and the foreign political agenda of the two countries were discussed.
Close attention was paid to the state of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The sides mentioned the need to reach one of the key goals of the Union State development as soon as possible – equal operation conditions for Belarusian and Russian enterprises. Opinions were exchanged about matters concerning the united energy markets, the development of a common industrial policy and a common agrarian one, the unification of transport market regulations, and an equal access to government procurement contracts. While talking about the development of the common industrial policy, Dmitry Krutoi and Dmitry Kozak touched upon the matter of mutual recognition of technological operations. Progress of the work on the mutual recognition of digital signatures in Belarus and Russia was reviewed. The importance of effective interaction in transport and logistics in current conditions was stressed.
Dmitry Krutoi and Dmitry Kozak discussed the realization of the youth policy and joint actions in this field. In particular, they discussed results of an expanded-participation conference involving heads of Russian and Belarusian youth associations, youth wings of political parties and representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
