Singapore has a rat infestation problem, but which parts have got it worst? We asked you to send us your rat sightings, and the response overwhelmed us. Over 7 weeks, more than 600 sightings poured in.
The result is this interactive heat map. As the digital team sorted through the photos and video submitted, some really made us squirm. There were rats scurrying about void decks and homes; even baby rats in a shoe cabinet on the 16th floor! One resident took Talking Point on a ‘rat tour’, and it became clear why Toa Payoh was the district with the most reported sightings.
