Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has started a logo design contest for the G20 Presidency of India.
New Delhi: India will hold the G20 Presidency from December 1, 2022 to November 20, 2023. It will culminate with the G20 Summit, which will be convened for the first time in India in 2023. It is important to note that it became part of the G20 Troika of Indonesia, Italy and India in December 2021. India will assume G20 Presidency from Indonesia later this year. Ahead of this, the Union Cabinet has approved the setting up of a G20 Secretariat and its reporting structures. Also, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has started a logo design contest for the G20 Presidency of India. Here in this article, we are going to tell you every detail related to the quiz.
Logo design criteria
According to MyGov, the logo for G20 Presidency should reflect “nationwide and internationally, a uniquely “Indian” G20.” There are certain elements that should be there in the logo.
Apart from this, the logo can have symbols derived from or reflecting India’s rich culture, philosophy and heritage, unity in diversity and national symbols. “India’s G20 Presidency as a guiding voice for the world, navigating through contemporary global challenges,” mentions the website under the list of desirable things.
It is important to note that the texts used in logo design must be only in English.
Prize money
The prize money will be payable after deduction of the TDS (Tax Deducted at Source).
Last Date
The contest, which is open to all citizens of India, will be open till June 7, 2022.
