Household bin collection dates have been confirmed by Hull and East Riding councils, after Monday was declared a bank holiday to allow people to watch the Queen's funeral.
The local authorities have issued details of which council services will be running and which will be suspended on the day of the funeral. It comes after Hull City Council announced a big screen would be set up in Queen Victoria Square for people to watch a live broadcast of the historic event.
However, while a number of council services will be changing, household bin collections will continue as normal in both Hull and the East Riding, meaning residents can expect their bins to be collected as usual.

However, Hull's household waste and recycling centres will be closed and all trade waste collections will be moved to the next day. Other council buildings closed in Hull will include Customer Service Centres, libraries, museums, Hull City Hall and Hull New Theatre, the Ferens Arts Gallery, the Hull History Centre and leisure facilities. Parks will remain open.
City centre car parks will remain open and the Queen Victoria Square toilets will be available. Hull's commercial and clinical bin collections will be amended on the following days:
In the East Riding, council buildings will close, but essential services in adult and children’s social care will continue. Books of condolences will be able to sign around the East Riding. On Sunday, 18 September, the following venues will be open for people to sign the books of condolence:
