He was named the British kingdom ruling monarch this past weekend.
Ever sincethe death of Queen Elizabeth IIwas announced, the focus has shifted to her son and heir, the recently named ruler of the British monarchy, King Charles III, who many say only missed the title due to him having lived his entire life surrounded by wealth and servitude.
King Charles had lived at Clarence House with now Queen Consort Camilla since 2003, and the couple’s staff nicknamed the now king as the “pampered prince”.
The former Prince of Wales had details of his lavish and eccentric requests for his staff during a 2015 Amazon Prime documentary called “Serving the Royals: Inside the Firm”.
A former butler for Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana, Paul Burrell, revealed how the then prince directed his staff to follow his exact requests, which included putting toothpase on his toothbrush to ironing his shoe laces, eventually having everything done from him.
Since being named King Charles III, he’s had this video gone viral online due to him requesting an object to be moved from his desk, rather than moving it himself.
Among his requests are that his valets squeeze one inch of toothpaste onto his toothbrush every morning, his bath plug to be in a certain position, and the temperature of his water, as well as a very strict routine when it comes to his breakfast.
“His pajamas are pressed every morning, his shoelaces are pressed flat with an iron, the bath plug has to be in a certain position, and the water temperature has to be just tepid,” in a bath tub filled “only half full,” Burrell acknowledged.
For breakfast he’ll have a healthy option, consistent of homemade bread, a bowl of fresh fruit alongside fresh fruit juices, his former chef Graham Newbould confessed.
“Wherever the prince goes in the world, the breakfast box goes with him. He has six different types of honey, some special mueslis, his dried fruit and anything that’s a bit special that he is a bit fussy about.”
The king also allegedly requires that his staff keep around a warming tray for his cheese and biscuits to always be at a certain temperature after his meals according to a member of the royal staff, giving us clue as to how particular he’s about everything.
