POSITION SUMMARY
The Media and Communications Manager will be responsible for managing and driving Surfing NSW’s media, marketing and communications deliverables. You will work in line with active partnerships, the events team and any programs being delivered by the wider team at the time. You will work closely with each department to determine their objectives and communicate them effectively with the Surfing community of NSW.
The successful applicant will require a high level of organisational, planning and administrative skill sets. The role will also entail analyzing media metrics and data to make insight-led decisions with a focus on measuring our impact, driving traffic and increasing conversions. Telling the story of our surfing community will be an integral part of your role. A candidate with a journalistic flare will be highly considered.

POSITION SUMMARY
As part of the Finance team, this role will contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting for the business.
Working alongside the Financial Controller, this role will support the internal financial reporting to the Executive Leadership Team as well as the monthly, quarterly and annual preparation of financial accounts.
This position has responsibility for bank, credit card and payment gateway reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable, fixed asset and capital expenditure register, and providing accurate and timely assistance with the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual preparation of financial accounts.
This role will also work closely with the Financial Controller on ad hoc projects, as required.
