LONDON – On the 26th of September, Gulfstream Aerospace Cooperation announced they have successfully delivered the 500th Gulfstream G650 and G650ER to a happy customer.
The delivery successfully took place at its Wisconsin, Appleton completions facility. The Gulfstream G650 is one of the most iconic aircraft from the American manufacturer and is being hailed as one of the best-selling Gulfstream ever.

The Gulfstream G650 is one of the manufacturer longest standing flagship. The G650 family provides one of the best significant time savings as it provides some of the longest cruising highspeed ceilings in the world of business aviation.
Altogether, the G650 and the slightly newer G650ER have totalled and unlocked over 120 city pairings with unmatched airspeeds compared to its competitors of Bombardier and Falcon-made business jets. These pairings include all directions irrespective of city location and wind directions, amassing both polar and west and eastbound records.
In addition, the American business jet in 2014 received the Rober J. Collier Trophy for the G650 programme alone which is a prestigious award honouring those who contribute greatly to the American aerospace and/or astronautics sector.

The G650 family typically seats up to 19 passengers, whereas the interior of the G650 and the G650ER will feature a bright, natural lighting friendly, and a respected award-winning interior made possible by its pioneering technological designs of the signature cabin design trademarked by Gulfstream.
Moreover, it features 100% fresh air circulation, which puts health-conscious guests at east, low cabin altitudes, 16 large panoramic windows and high-speed internet broadband connectivity options like Viasat’s Ku/Ka dual-band. The G650 family are powered by the reliable Rolls-Royce BR725 engines, which enable the flagship aircraft to fly up to 7,000 nautical miles/12,964 kilometres, when cruising at Mach 0.85 and 6,000 nm/11,112 km when flying at its maximum cruise speed of Mach 0,90. This is one of the industry’s fastest-flying private jets.
Significantly, the top-notch variant, the G650ER can fly up to 7,500 nm/13,890 km with the speed of Mach 0.85 and 6,400 nm/11,853 km with the speed of Mach 0.90.
Both business jets, the -ER and the non-ER variant bear the ability to achieve the speed of Mach 0.925, with a maximum cruising altitude of 51,000 feet or 15,545 meters.
