More than 20,000 tickets have been sold already for England women's team's match at Stoke City next month.
England will take on Luxembourg in their final 2023 World Cup qualifier and what will be their first match on home soil since being crowned European champions at Wembley on Sunday. There has been a surge in demand since the weekend and remaining tickets will be available in a new sales window to be announced later this month.
The team set a new record for highest crowd for a European Championships game – men or women – when 87,192 saw them beat Germany 2-1 after extra-time at Wembley.

England currently sit five points clear of nearest rivals Austria in Group D, having won eight out of eight, scored 68 and conceded none. They can secure a place at the finals in Australia and New Zealand by avoiding defeat to Austria in the penultimate qualifier on September 3.
They played an international at the bet365 against Canada in April 2021 but that was behind closed doors due to Covid while a friendly against Zambia last summer was postponed due to the pandemic.
Manager Sarina Wiegman said earlier this summer: "We will be playing in a great venue, and I know the fans in Stoke will be delighted to finally get the chance to come out and see us play live. As it will be our first home match after the summer, I hope there will be extra reason for us to celebrate on the night.”
The victorious England squad includes Hannah Hampton, who was converted from striker to goalkeeper while she was on Stoke's books as a junior. Now 21 and playing for Aston Villa, she helped Stoke reach the FA Girls' Youth Cup semi-final in 2016.
Tickets are priced £15 for adults, £2.50 for under-16s and £5 concessions – for over-65s and students.
