Louis Tomlinson has released a new track called Silver Tongues.
Co-written with Hurts’ Theo Hutchcraft, The Courteeners’ Joe Cross and David Sneddon, the song opens with a delicate piano melody before a thumping drum beat and driving guitar riff heralds a rousing stadium rock aesthetic, continuing the star’s shift away from his pop background.
Following Out Of My System, Silver Tongues marks the second preview of the 30-year-old’s imminent new album, ‘Faith In The Future’, which is out this Friday (November 11).
To accompany the release, he’ll play a show dubbed Faith In The Future Live In Concert at New York City’s Irving Plaza. He’ll also take over London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on November 18, with tickets on sale at 9am on the day of the record’s arrival.
In 2023, he’ll take his Faith In The Future World Tour across mainland Europe, kicking off on August 29 in Hamburg and wrapping up on October 23 in Zurich. The UK and Ireland leg will take place in November of that year. Tickets are on sale now.
