Huawei has just announced that HarmonyOS 3.0 is on the way, and that one of its latest tablets will be graced with the major software upgrade as standard. Furthermore, it is likely to be a premium slate, as it is to be the latest member of the MatePad Pro line-up.
The OEM has yet to divulge any internals that this new device might have (although it seems to have a Mate 40-esque camera hump and a flattened metallic frame thus far). However, it is apparent that Huawei intends to buck the new super-big-screen trend with the upcoming device. It has already been identified as the "MatePad Pro 11-inch", indicating that it will drop the 12.6-inch spec of its predecessor for these new dimensions.
Huawei has released 10.8-inch variants of its flagship tablet line before; however, rounding up to 11 here hints vaguely at a new size for this 2022 device. Then again, we may have to wait until it and its updated OS are unleashed on July 27, 2022 to know for sure.
