Last week, Huawei began to rollout November 2022 security update for the P30 Lite smartphone. And now the company is expanding this rollout to more Huawei P30 lite users in the global market.
Notably, the Huawei P30 lite phone runs EMUI 12 software and the November 2022 update aims to improve the security of this device. Hence, it’s suggested to install this firmware as soon as it appears on your P30 Lite.
Interestingly, some users asked us about EMUI 13 eligibility, which Huawei has not confirmed at the moment. Notably, we can assume that Huawei may soon deliver some inputs on the roadmap soon.
Amid this discussion, the Huawei P40 series in the global market has started receiving December 2022 security patch. It’s the first flaghip lineup to grab this new EMUI version.
Coming back to the phone, you can get the new firmware by going into Settings > then tapping on System & updates and then tapping on Software updates. From here tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES, which will fetch a new update for your P30 lite. However, some users may have to wait for the rollout, as it may take some time to cover all users.
Huawei P30 lite comes with a waterdrop notch to house a selfie camera, the screen is flat and brings a better viewing experience. This Lite model brings you a beautiful design on the rear side.
Furthermore, the camera system is quite powerful as it will boast a triple-lens system of 24MP+8MP+2MP for ultra-wide angle f/1.8 aperture, f/2.4 aperture, and f/2.4 aperture respectively.
Still, there’s a high-quality, selfie camera of 32MP with f/2.0 aperture. Meanwhile, the phone has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. To be mentioned, Huawei also has a New Edition of the P30 lite sold in Europe with an extended 256GB version.
The phone ships with a 3340 mAh battery with an 18W fast charger. The battery backup is quite good.
