The Prince and Princess of Wales have arrived at a Christmas carol concert in Westminster Abbey to a warm reception from royal fans. The couple were accompanied by Prince George and Princess Charlotte as they floated down the red carpet, and followed by King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort. Their worry-free appearance at the event followed the release of the final three ‘Meghan & Harry’ episodes on Netflix, leading some fans to give the US royals a dressing down.
The Prince and Princess debuted to greetings of “Kate we love you, William we love you” from approximately 200 well-wishers in attendance.
They had braved icy conditions in London to catch a glimpse of the future King and Queen.
Among them was Brazilian national Ella Santis, 32, from London, who waited hours for the Royal Family to arrive.
As they emerged from their car, she cried: “Prince William we love you. Kate we love you. We support you!”

‘Thank you, Will!’ Fan praises prince and brands Harry ‘boy’ who needed to hear ‘truths’
Ella Santis called Prince Harry a “boy”
Ms Santis added: “We love this family so much.”
Other supporters echoed her words as they yelled “we support you even more” as the royals tracked towards Westminster Abbey.
But there was an undercurrent of irritation at the event, with Ms Santis taking the opportunity to voice her frustrations with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
She clutched a sign thanking Prince William and praising him for speaking frankly with Prince Harry, who she branded a “boy”.
The Prince and Princess arrived to a warm crowd
The sign read: “Thank you Prince William for doing what every person in Britain would like to have done: To tell that ‘boy’ a few truths'”.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have caused a stir in recent weeks following the release of their landmark documentary series.
They have levelled new accusations against royal officials, with the Duchess’ lawyer Jenny Afia claiming there was a “war” against her.
Ms Afia said: “This barrage of negative articles about the breakdown of the relationship with her father was the final straw in a campaign of negative, nasty coverage about her.”
The couple was accompanied by their two eldest children
Ms Santis questioned whether the Duke and Duchess have acted in a similar vein.
She said: “What [Harry and Meghan] claim they are doing to them is exactly what they are doing to the Royal Family.”
“Saying the Royal Family are smearing them, but aren’t they doing the same?”
Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have said they won’t comment on the new documentary episodes.
