The latest installment of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s Netflix docu-series has left the Royal Family and the world reeling, with stark revelations about why they left the Firm for a better life in the United States. The documentary highlighted the severe challenges the couple faced in Britain, including fears for their safety under growing media attention and insights about Meghan’s miscarriage. But the series also gave royal fans a glimpse into their respective childhoods, with exclusive photos of Prince Harry with his brother, Prince William.
That sweet moment is shown in episode five of the series, with several throwback photos played across the screen. After a short stay in Canada, the couple went back to Frogmore cottage in March 2020.
“And that was our sort of farewell week,” Prince Harry said in the series, reflecting on himself and Meghan stepping back as senior working royals.
Meghan explained: “We were going through so many boxes, just literally looking at everything going: ‘Oh my god, this blanket I missed. That was so funny!'”
The couple then spent time reminiscing over items they had taken with them.

The next shot displays the couple smiling with a photobook open, as they flip through it.
Reflecting on the moment, Meghan said: “Just taking it all in. And it really gave a chance to look back at our whole love story.”
The photos, arranged a scrapbook style, seem to show Prince Harry and Prince William on holiday when they were little. Taken by the coast, the pictures show the two princes posing by the sea and using binoculars to look out across the shoreline.
The sweet image gave viewers a glimpse into a happier time for the brothers, who have reportedly not spoken since the fallout of the Netflix show.

Prince Harry said he and Meghan needed to get some ‘breathing space’ with Archie
The shot of the photo album is followed by a series of never-seen-before pictures of Harry and Meghan in the early days of their relationship, away from the cameras and media.
As the montage concludes, Prince Harry turned his attention to his own children.
“We always saw Archie running around the garden at Frogmore Cottage and maybe jumping in the Queen’s pond, that was all part of our future and everything changed really, really quickly,” he said.
“We knew we were going to get some breathing space from this very painful experience that we’d been stuck in, but also at the same time it was really sad.”

Prince William has reportedly not spoken to his brother Harry since the release of the Netflix show
Since the release of the docu-series, it has been claimed Prince William cut contact with his brother over the allegations Harry made.
“William cut all contact,” Royah Nikkhah, Royal Editor for The Sunday Times said in a tweet accompanying a feature on the fallout of “Harry & Meghan”.
Ms Nikkhah cited two unnamed friends of the Prince of Wales who despaired at the extent of the damage of the series, in which Harry accused William of screaming at him over his plan to leave royal life in 2020.
One source noted that their relationship had been “very strained for a while” and asserted that William had no plans to speak to him in the future. A second said: “The whole thing is mad.”
Prince Harry is set to reveal more about the Royal Family in his tell-all memoir, which will hit shelves on January 10 – less than a month after the Netflix series.
