According to a royal correspondent the Prince has no plans to speak with him again
According to one of Britain’s most renowned royal correspondents, Prince William broke off contact with his brother, Prince Harry, as a result of the accusations Harry made in his most recent Netflix documentary.
Roya Nikkhah of The Sunday Times tweeted, “William cuts all contact,” in reference to a piece on the effects of “Harry & Meghan,” which was recently broadcast on Netflix.
Nikkhah mentioned two unidentified associates of the Prince of Wales who were dejected about the harm the television show caused when Harry said that William yelled at him about his decision to depart the royal family in 2020.
In order to draw attention away from other issues in the family, he also charged William of conspiring with the media to spread false information about him and Meghan.
One source claimed that their communication had been “extremely strained for a while” and that William had no intention of speaking to him again. Another merely stated, “The whole thing is ridiculous.”
Harry claimed in the documentary that his brother’s employees told the media rumors about him and Meghan.
“I would far rather get destroyed in the press than play along with this game or this business of trading,” he said. “And to see my brother’s office copy the very same thing that we promised the two of us would never ever do, that was heartbreaking.”
Harry lamented his broken relationship with his brother, which the public had previously believed to be unbreakable, in the Netflix series.
The “saddest part of it was this wedge created between myself and my brother so that he’s now on the institution’s side. And part of that, I get. I understand, right? That’s his inheritance,” he said.
