The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will part in a Christmas tradition with their estranged family members despite not being invited to spend Christmas at Sandringham, it is thought. After the release of both volumes of their bombshell Netflix docuseries 'Harry & Meghan', members of The Firm are reportedly unhappy with the couple, especially the Prince of Wales.
But, despite the strain felt on both sides of the pond between relatives, a royal expert has claimed that the Sussexes will still be exchanging Christmas presents with the Windsors. Harry and Meghan will buy for their niece Princess Charlotte and nephews Prince George and Prince Louis, while Kate will send parcels for Archie and Lilibet to open on Christmas Day.
Royal expert Roya Nikkhah wrote in the Sunday Times: "Believe it or not, the Waleses and the Sussexes are exchanging Christmas gifts this year. In the absence of goodwill between the couples, William and Kate will not deprive three-year-old Archie and Lilibet, one, of a present under the tree.

"And in one royal tradition that Team Sussex is still on board with, Harry and Meghan have also dispatched gifts for George, Charlotte and Louis, who are nine, seven and four. There will be no presents exchanged between the adults."
Harry and Meghan recently shared their side of the story in their explosive docuseries, which saw them make a series of allegations about the way in which Meghan in particular had been treated by the press and the royals. Harry also reflected on his upbringing within The Firm, and claimed that his older brother William had 'screamed and shouted' at him shortly before he and Meghan left the UK for California, an ordeal which was 'terrifying' for the younger prince.
Whilst the world has been talking about the allegations made by the Sussexes, royal sources have claimed that King Charles III and the Prince of Wales will keep 'a dignified silence'. Although, despite the drama between the Windsors and Sussexes, it has been reported that the King will be referencing his US-dwelling son and daughter-in-law in his first Christmas Day speech on Sunday.
But, although he sent his love to them in his first televised speech as King in September and has apparently invited them to his Coronation in May, Charles has not sent Harry and Meghan an invite to Sandringham this Christmas, where he will be throwing a well-attended festive soirée. A lot of royals will be there, including the Waleses, the Tindalls, Princess Anne, and even Prince Andrew and Fergie.
