Now, a week on from the claim that Prince Harry killed 25 Taliban, some of his Sandhurst classmates have poked holes in his revelations.
Speaking exclusively to the Mail, the classmates have said that, while a student, the 38-year-old was actually told the complete opposite.
They claimed that Harry’s presented representation of army teaching was “wrong by 180 degrees” and that they were in fact taught that ‘othering’ and dehumanising was completely wrong.
Other officer cadets claimed that they, and Harry, were warned such cognitive biases were highly dangerous.
Harry’s claim of the “killings” happened on his second tour of Afghanistan. In his memoir, Harry wrote that “they” – his Army instructors – trained me to “other” them and they trained me well”.
Prince Harry has claimed that he wishes his brother, Prince William “would be able to feel the same benefits” that he has experienced since seeking therapy.
The Duke of Sussex was in conversation with The Telegraph where he spoke about his memoir, which was officially published on January 10.
Prince Harry, 38, has been travelling around to give interviews as his tell-all memoir has been released globally.
In various media interactions and in the book the Duke of Sussex spoke openly about his use of ayahuasca, a psychedelic, with a professional during his treatment.
He said that it was this experience that prompted “the acceptance and realisation that she [Princess Diana] has gone, but that she wants me to be happy and that she’s very much present in my life.
“As two brothers, if one of you goes through that experience and the other one doesn’t, it naturally creates a further divide between you. Which is really sad.
“But as much as William was the first person to even suggest therapy, I just wish that he would be able to feel the same benefits of that as opposed to believing what he doesn’t need to.”
Prince Harry has shared his technique for transporting himself back to flying missions in Afghanistan as he recalled his experiences in the war torn nation to his ghostwriter for his memoir Spare.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph the Duke of Sussex said that he would “close” his eyes and himself “back in the cockpit” and fly the same missions again.
The Duke also revealed that his ghostwriter J R Moehringer was “amazed” by the level of detail that he could recall.

Prince Harry has defended the Royal Family members in his tell-all memoir “Spare” as he claimed that they play a “crucial role” in it.
In an interview with The Telegraph, he spoke about the Royal Family members and defended them in a way.
He told the publication the reason for putting in the bits about his family members.
He said: “Because on the scale of things I could include for family members, there were certain things that – look, anything I’m going to include about any of my family members, I’m going to get trashed for.
“I knew that walking into it. But it’s impossible to tell my story without them in it, because they play such a crucial part in it.
“And also because you need to understand the characters and personalities of everyone within the book.”
Prince Harry has laid bare one of his darkest moments in 2019, when he found his wife Meghan in floods of tears.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph the Duke said that the incident occured when the couple were living in Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor estate, just after the couple’s son Archie had been born.
Harry described his “breaking point” when he saw his wife sobbing in the Frogmore nursery, with this significant incident and a number of others leading to their eventual decision to step down as working royals in early 2020.

A OnePoll survey commissioned by the Daily Express has found that the Duke of Sussex has effectively lost the support of all age groups in the UK except the 18-24s after attacking his family in his newly published memoir, Spare.
The results will add to mounting pressure on the King to take action against his outspoken son and daughter-in-law, even though sources close to him have suggested he will want to try to reconcile privately with Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, in the run-up to the Coronation, despite their actions to widen the family rift.

Air New Zealand has mocked the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after Prince Harry claimed Meghan booked her father on a first class flight with the airline. Harry wrote that his wife arranged a trip from Mexico to Britain for Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle, as they were concerned about media harassment ahead of the Sussexes’ wedding day in 2018. Mr Markle was accused of staging photos for the paparazzi, which he denied. Harry wrote: “We told him, leave Mexico right now: A whole new level of harassment is about to rain down on you, so come to Britain. Now. We’ll arrange for an apartment where you can hole up safely until your flight. Air New Zealand, first class, booked and paid for by Meg.”
But a spokesperson for the airline told the New Zealand Herald it has never run flights between Mexico and the UK. They also said they only have Business Premier class.
In a cheeky tweet liked more than 2,000 times, Air New Zealand said: “Introducing #SussexClass Apparently coming soon “.

He told viewers: “The biggest book of the year so far belongs to Prince Harry, he’s topping the bestseller charts.

She was able to wear her gold wedding ring, but Kate walked around the Liverpool hospital without her 12-carat sapphire engagement ring and her Eclipse diamond eternity ring, made from 18-carat white gold.
Kate removed her rings for health and safety reasons. She did the same when she visited Evelina children’s hospital back in 2020.

However, its performance in France has come as more of a surprise.
Roughly 210,000 editions of the royal memoir, Le Supplant, were sold in the opening 48 hours of the book hitting shelves in France.
