PRINCE Harry & Meghan Markle are "not wanted" by the British public at the King's coronation, a royal author has claimed.
While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could attend the King's coronation celebrations, the pair are "unlikely" to earn a top spot on Buckingham Palace's balcony during the event.
But speaking to Sky News Australia, commentator and Sussex critic Angela Levin said the couple "can't be trusted" – and would steal the limelight of His Majesty's milestone ceremony.
The royal author said: “A lot of us in the UK – and I mean a lot – really don’t want them here at all. Because you can’t trust them, and they will report everything or do another documentary about it or another book and look for all the negative.
“Or they’ll just take attention away from King Charles. This is his moment; this is what he’s waited for since he was a little boy and watched his mummy in 1953. And he deserves to have the full attention of everybody around the world.”

According to an expert in such matters, Prince Harry's tell-all memoir Spare broke "some of the cardinal rules of reputation management."
Public relations, reputation and crisis management expert Edward Coram-James tolds the Express: "How has the story been presented? Poorly. It has broken some of the cardinal rules of reputation management.
"Half of the battle with reputation management is to make sure that your actions meet your words. This is all about perception.
"Ultimately Harry may well be being sincere when he says that he wishes for reconciliation with his family. But, by saying this while continuing to throw punches against them, he risks appearing insincere.
"And, if you appear insincere on one major thing, you often reduce your credibility in all things that you say.
"He also criticises the Royal Family for allegedly leaking private stories about him to the press. However, his reaction to this has been to air all of the family laundry in the most public manner possible.
"By creating such a clear distinction between their words and their actions, many have called them out for hypocrisy."
He added:
"We will never know if they are truly being hypocritical, as we simply do not know enough details to make such an assessment. And it is important to recognise that fact.
"However, the optics of hypocrisy are very hard to ignore. And if one appears hypocritical, in the roll out of a reputation management campaign, then one loses the battle in that very instance."
Vanity Fair's royal expert Katie Nicholl believes Prince William and Princess Kate have worked out how to avoid Princess Charlotte feeling like her uncle Prince Harry – the spare.
Speaking on the Dynasty Podcast, Nicholl said: "George, Charlotte and Louis are enjoying a childhood Harry and William didn't get to enjoy and I think that is why William and Kate are channeling everything they can into raising their children with an understanding of who they are as royals but as ordinary children too.
"No one wants the next generation to suffer as Harry has suffered… it's not a pretty picture."
'I think when you look to the Cambridges and how they are raising their children, away from the spotlight, in pretty ordinary schools, in a regular cottage on the grounds of Windsor, having bucket and spade holidays and teaching them to sail on the broads in Norfolk…'
'It does open up the question of the next spare, of Princess Charlotte.
'I'm sure William and Kate have got that all worked out.
She added: "Reading Spare, if they do, I think at points it will be deeply uncomfortable for them."
Prince Harry has reportedly scored another £16million for his memoir Spare.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took a financial hit upon leaving royal family.
In the UK a whopping 750,000 copies of Spare have been sold since its publication on January 10.
Harry paid ghostwriter JJ Moehringer $1million for the book.
King Charles has used the royal train for the first time since starting his reign, but what does it look like inside?
The current royal train came into service for the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977.
The dining rooms feature bolted-down formica tables surrounded by plywood furnishings more at home in a Travelodge than Balmoral.
One of the dining rooms even has a visible bullet hole from an accident in 2000 where a royal bodyguard let off his gun while the Queen was sleeping.
King Charles is set to make massive changes to Sandringham’s grounds as he plans an eco overhaul.
The King has made plans to create a “climate-friendly Topiary Garden” to improve the Estate’s biodiversity.
The plans announced by the Norfolk property include introducing over 5,000 ‘healing Yew tree hedging plants as well as bringing year-round colour with lavender.
A statement from the estate read: “This area of the garden will now have a decorative aspect and bring increased naturalistic planting to the area to improve biodiversity.
“In recent years, with changing weather patterns the current expanse of lawn has been affected by warm weather and excessive rainfall.
“The newly developed garden will introduce new species that are more robust, hardy and better able to withstand the impact of emerging weather patterns.”

When Harry and Meghan were expecting Lilibet, their lives were way different from when they had Archie and still had a royal role.
When expecting Lilibet, the Duke said how he wanted to be the first person Lilibet sees.
He wrote: “I cradled her just a moment, trying to smile at her, to see her, but honestly I couldn’t see anything.”
When Lilibet was born, Meghan and Harry shared a special intimate moment in which the Duchess told him: “I’ve never been more in love with you than in that moment.”
Harry was left speechless replying: “Really?” with Meghan giving him reassurance by repeating the words.
A royal expert has claimed Prince Andrew is "the only person in the world" who thinks he can rejoin the royal fold in active duty.
Lorraine Kelly asked royal expert Russell Myers: "Does [Prince Andrew] honestly think that he can make a comeback, that he can actually be part of the Royal Family?"
To which Myers replied: "As it was said to me previously, the only person in the world who thinks he does have a chance is Prince Andrew himself.
"I think that this smacks of entitlement, privilege once again.
"He thinks he's got a clear run at trying to exonerate himself, although we do know he paid £12million to Virginia Giuffre, that the Queen did make her contribution to as well."
He added: "Would he want to be? Prince Andrew would say he always said he didn't do anything wrong, that he couldn't remember meeting Virginia Giuffre, so let's wait and see what happens."
Later this year, Brits will celebrate King Charles’s Coronation with a three-day party — including two royal processions in central London.
The two parades on Coronation Day will conclude with members of the Royal Family — including the newly-crowned King and his Queen Consort — waving from the balcony at Buckingham Palace.
This comes as it also revealed that a massive royal concert will take place to celebrate the King’s ascension, with the likes of Sir Paul McCartney and Queen reportedly performing.
The Duke of Sussex referred to an unofficial biography by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand published in August 2020 about his and his wife’s life in his memoir.
The book claimed that Meghan underwent a “mock kidnapping” to prepare for “all high-risk security scenarios” making it an “extremely intense and scary” experience for her.
In his memoir Spare, Prince Harry hit out at the claims, writing: “A bestselling book describes the day Special Forces came to our house, grabbed Meg, put her through several intense days of drills, pushing her into back seats and car boots, speeding away to safe houses.”
But in reality, Harry said the Duchess “wasn’t given one minute of training.”
He added: “On the contrary, the Palace floated the idea of not giving her any security at all because I was now sixth in line to the throne”.
Buckingham Palace has announced details on the ceremonial, celebratory and community events taking place between May 6 and 8, 2023, in honour of the Coronation.
The Royal Family tweeted: "Communities across the UK will be encouraged to come together to celebrate the Coronation with events including Big Lunches, volunteering days and a concert in the grounds of Windsor Castle which will be open to a public ballot."

In light of reports King Charles has been meeting with Prince Andrew to discuss him returning to official royal duties, one royal expert claimed the King would be “bloody stupid” to allow the disgraced prince’s return.
It has been almost a year since Prince Andrew paid Virginia Guiffre a sum reportedly in the region of £3million to drop her court case against him, in which she claimed billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein forced her to have sex with the Duke of York – a claim the prince has always denied.
But now Andrew is “considering legal options” following Ms Guiffre dropping another lawsuit in Novebmber 2022 against a man she claimed sexually abused her, apparently hoping for a retraction and apology.
Writing for news.com.au, Daniela Elser said: “King Charles would seem to be OK with his brother reopening this hornet’s nest, which is without a doubt, the most serious crisis that has hit the Royal Family in decades.
“However, it is the Charles part in all this that is most surprising and dare I say it, bloody stupid. The King has made a number of surprisingly benevolent gestures towards his brother.
“[He] is understood to be considering permitting him to use his HRH title on correspondence, which would prove a huge boost to the Duke; restoring status and credibility.
“Not only that, the two men have 'held talks' in recent weeks and Charles has given the green light to Andrew to 'pursue some business interests, which would serve the dual purpose of keeping him occupied and allowing him to make some money'.
“So, just to sum up – all the signs [are] pointing to not only Andrew getting set to stage a real comeback push but that Charles is showing a truly shocking degree of leniency towards the nearly universally despised Duke.
“What is clear as a bright Balmoral day is that all of this spells nothing but disaster in 48-point font for Charles.”
Relationship expert Valon Asani spoke with The Mirror on how Prince Harry can follow these five steps to mend his relationship with the royal family.
Asani said that first Harry and his family need to acknowledge and have sympathy for the struggles they’ve been through.
Then they need to find a “common ground” such as an activity over which they can bond over.
The next step is to reach out for an olive branch. Asani explained that if Harry and Meghan are invited to the King’s Coronation, they should go.
He added how establishing boundaries and respecting them is another important step in reconciling.
Finally, they need to take it slow and not rush because relationships aren’t amended in a split of a second.
Do you think we’ll get to see a dialogue between the Sussexes and the Royal Family this year?
Royal experts have predicted King Charles’ coronation could be an even grander affair than her late Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.
Constitutional expert Dr Bob Morris, of University College London, said: “It will be very grand and will probably eclipse the Queen’s funeral and Platinum Jubilee in terms of pageantry.
“There will be more bands and more people.
“It will certainly be an amazing sight. But it won’t be the grand affair we had in 1953, which had all the colonial troops. It will feel less imperial.”
During an interview with Tom Bradby on ITV, Harry was asked if he will come to the coronation if he is invited, and he said: "There's a lot that can happen between now and then.
"But, you know, the door is always open.
"The – the ball is in their court.
"There's a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they can – that they are willing to sit down and talk about it, because there's a lot that's happened in six years.
"And prior to that as well."
Culture Secretary Michelle Donelan said the coronation is "a huge milestone in the history of the UK and Commonwealth", adding that the weekend of events will bring people together to celebrate "the mixture of tradition and modernity, culture and community that makes our country great".
Arrangements for the coronation, like those for the Queen's funeral in September, will be diplomatically sensitive, given the likely presence of leaders from scores of different countries.
It could also pose difficulties for the royal family following the release of the Duke of Sussex's controversial memoir, with a question mark over whether Harry and wife Meghan will be among those attending.

THE popularity of Prince Harry is plummeting – and is anyone surprised?
New polling suggests that less than a quarter of us hold a favourable view of the Montecito moaner after the release of his tell-all memoir Spare.
Harry has seen a steep decline in his personal popularity in recent years. But since his book was published, it appears only to have escalated things.
And it's having an impact on the wider family, too.
All members of the Royal Family were found to be less popular in recent days than they had been in December, except for the Queen Consort, whose popularity rating did not change.
The King is set to host a huge party in celebration of his coronation, with the likes of Sir Paul McCartney and Queen rumoured to be performing.

Buckingham Palace said last night that a national ballot will be held by the BBC, offering “several thousand” pairs of tickets to lucky Brits.
It did not offer any further details on when the ballots will be opened, but suggested people keep their eyes on the BBC.
A royal expert has said the Royal Family must take not of at least some of the criticisms Prince Harry made in his new book.
Rachel Burchfield, co-host of Podcast Royal, said: “I hope, as far as change, we figure some things out to welcome women — and men — into the family.
“But I don’t think the monarchy is in jeopardy after this book. I do think they can read the book and if they’re thoughtful and mindful, take some of the criticisms about the institution about the firm and make them.
“I hope that this book is not for nothing.”
PRINCE Harry felt “threatened by silence” after Meghan Markle told an “awkward” joke at the Trooping the Colour.
In the Prince Harry’s memoir he recalls the moment he was faced by a “yawning silence” from the Royal Family after Meghan Markle’s Trooping the Colour joke.
In his book titled Spare, the Duke said everyone at the Trooping the Colour was “in a good mood, upbeat”.
However the mood changed after Meghan Markle made a joke to Kate Middleton.
Prince Harry wrote: “But then: Kate asked Meg what she thought of her first Trooping the Colour. And Meg joked: Colourful,” Harry then claimed “a yawning silence threatened to swallow us all whole.”
A number of royals live at the palace currently, including Prince William and Princess Kate with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Despite the fact that they moved to Windsor in 2022, Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace remains their official London residence.
Other residents include the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Eugenie (with Jack Brooksbank and their son, August), The Duke and Duchess of Kent and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.
Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, lives with his wife Katharine, the Duchess of Kent in Wren House at Kensington Palace.
The Duke of Kent’s brother, Prince Michael of Kent, and his wife, Princess Michael of Kent live in Apartment 10 at Kensington Palace.
Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank, and their young son spend part of their time at Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace, as they now split their time between London and Portugal.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle previously lived in the grounds also, in Nottingham Cottage, prior to their starting a new life in America.
Taking place two days after King Charles’ coronation, The Big Help Out will aim to encourage volunteering across the nation in the hope of bringing communities together.
An official statement by the Palace said: “The Big Help Out will be held on Monday, 8th May 2023 and is being organised by The Together Coalition and a wide range of partners such as The Scouts, the Royal Voluntary Service and faith groups from across the United Kingdom.
“The Big Help Out will highlight the positive impact volunteering has on communities across the nation.
In tribute to His Majesty The King’s public service, The Big Help Out will encourage people to try volunteering for themselves and join the work being undertaken to support their local areas.
“The aim of The Big Help Out is to use volunteering to bring communities together and create a lasting volunteering legacy from the Coronation Weekend.”
During a meeting with England’s world champion Wheelchair Rugby League team last week at Hampton Court Palace, Princess Kate revealed that Prince Louis is “mad” about the game.
Kate said: “Louis is mad about Rugby.”
Speaking about her three children, she added: “They all love sport.
“They are at an age where they just love running around.”
