According to a royal expert, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were likely the “first to know” about Eugenie‘s special news.
Since the latest royal baby news, royal expert, and editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward has spoken out about Eugenie’s latest pregnancy.
Speaking to the Mirror, Ms Seward said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would have been amongst the first to hear the news of Eugenie’s pregnancy.
“Meghan and Harry are close with Eugenie – and not only has she stayed with them in California, but they have been on holidays together before Harry’s marriage.
“If the Sussexes come to the coronation in May, there will be an added incentive to see Eugenie as by then it is doubtful if she will want to travel herself.”

The official visit was due to take place last September but was postponed due to the mourning period following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Crown Prince and Crown Princess will be joined on the visit by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anniken Huitfeldt; Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Terje Aasland; and Minister of Trade and Industry, Jan Christian Vestre, as well as a business delegation during the visit.
Further details about the visit are due to be published in due cause.
According to The Royal Court of Norway, the visit would be focused around business in particular the energy sector and the challenges of Green industrial transition.

“Promotion of Norwegian literature and music will also be included in the programme.”
Norway’s future Queen has revealed she achieved her dream of skydiving as the teen royal celebrated her 19th birthday.
On Saturday, Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway turned 19-years-old, and the Norwegian Royal Family’s social media celebrated the occasion by revealing a picture of the teen royal just after skydiving.
It’s been reported that Princess Ingrid Alexandra has wished to tick skydiving of her bucket list since her 18th birthday last year.
On Instagram, the Norwegian Royal Family posted two pictures of Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway to celebrate her birthday.
One of the photographs is an official royal portrait of the princess smiling while wearing a white high-neck top with a pendant necklace.
The other photographs show Princess Ingrid Alexandra moments after skydiving, as the royal is standing in a green field with the parachute behind her.
The royal social media page captioned the photographs, and translated from Norwegian to English it read: “Happy 19th birthday, Princess Ingrid Alexandra!
“At the top of the bucket list is skydiving, Princess Ingrid Alexandra said when she turned 18.
“This summer, she got to try herself from a height of 20,000 feet during a so-called HAHO jump (High Altitude, High Opening) together with the Defense Special Command at Rena.”
On Tuesday evening, GB News host Dan Wootton ran a segment on his show asking his guests about a recent article by the Daily Telegraph concerning Meghan Markle.
The newspaper questioned why the Duchess of Sussex has not been promoting Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ which was released earlier this month on January 10.
The Telegraph has reported that some sources have suggested Meghan may have “raised gentle concerns” about ‘Spare’ and was “more wary” than Prince Harry about the project.
One source said: “Is this the way she would have approached things? Possibly not, but she will always back him and would never have got involved in promoting such a personal project.
“This was about his own life, his own journey and his own perspective.”
GB News host Dan Wootton spoke about the Telegraph and said he found it to be “absolutely fascinating” as “ it was the first sign of Meghan trying to distance herself from all of the collateral PR damage caused by ‘Spare’.”
Meghan and Harry have been shunned by the British public who claim that they do not want the royal pair to attend the historic day, a royal reporter has said.
Royal author and commentator Angela Levin featured on GB News and spoke of how their presence would put a dampener on the spectacular day and take attention away from King Charles.
Ms Levin said: “A lot of us in the UK, and I mean a lot, really don’t want them here at all.
“Because you can’t trust them, and they will report everything or do another documentary about it or another book and look for all the negative. Or they’ll just take attention away from King Charles.”
She added: “This is his moment; this is what he’s waited for since he was a little boy and watched his mummy in 1953.
“And he deserves to have the full attention of everybody around the world.”
GB News host Dan Wootton added: “It would really sour the event for a lot of Brits if they were to see Harry and Meghan on that balcony alongside William and Charles and Kate and Camilla after everything that those two have said.”
It is highly unlikely that if the Sussex’s attend the event that they will also feature on the balcony, which is a privilege usually reserved for working royals.
Nile Gardiner has spoken out about alleged “divisions in camp Harry and Meghan” as the pair face a dip in popularity following the release of Spare.
The former aide to Margaret Thatcher appeared on GB News, where he slammed Prince Harry‘s “vicious” attack on the Royal Family.
He added that the publicity surrounding the book and its contents had “spectacularly backfired” on the couple as they had “underestimated” the public’s response.
He said: “My view is that Harry’s hatchet job attack on the Royal Family has been a really vicious piece of work, actually, and it has spectacularly backfired on both Harry and Meghan.
“I think the British public have turned Harry really into a pariah as a result of this very nasty book.
“Also in the United States as well the popularity of Harry and Meghan has fallen significantly and I do think that Harry and Meghan definitely underestimated the level of backlash there was going to be against Spare.
“Hence the reason why I think Meghan has been rather quiet.”
Host Dan Wootton then questioned whether the Duchess could now be starting to “distance herself” from her husband’s antics in an attempt to maintain her own image.
Mr Gardiner added: “I do think we are beginning to see divisions in camp Harry and Meghan, because this book has been absolutely disastrous I think for their standing and their image.
“I think there will be fallout from this, and I would not be surprised if Meghan is deeply unhappy about the backlash the book has received and she’s unhappy about Harry’s performance.”

Prince Harry recorded the audiobook version of his memoir Spare, released worldwide on January 10.
Meghan Markle thinks her husband Prince Harry could be in line to win a Grammy, a prestigious award in the music industry, for his rendition of his memoir Spare in audio form, it has been claimed. Harry could be considered for next year’s Grammy for Best Spoken Word (Best Audiobook, Narration and Storytelling Recording) as he read the audiobook version of his autobiography released worldwide earlier this month. The source, described as an entertainment industry insider, told the DailyMail.com: “He’s a natural storyteller, has a soothing voice and even sings on the audio version.”
Prince Harry claimed he has enough material about his experience as a member of the Royal Family to follow up on his successful foray into autobiographical writing.
Prince Harry has been warned there is a “very real risk” attempts to write a follow-up to his memoir will not be met with the same level of support as Spare. The Duke of Sussex hinted at the possibility of adding to his already-explosive assessment of life as a senior member of the Royal Family when he admitted he saved up on material when writing his autobiography. But memoir-writing expert Rutger Bruining noted readers have a tendency to “grow tired” with a person’s story and could snub the Duke’s further attempts to present his side of the story.

The Royal Family has been praised by Pauline Maclaran, Professor of Marketing and Consumer Research at Royal Holloway University of London, for its strong wall of silence in response to the bombshell claims made by Prince Harry in his book, with an expert warning the Duke of Sussex will eventually “burn himself out”.
She told Express.co.uk the royals will be well aware of the risks of sparking what could be another bitter row with Harry and if anything, could later release something comparable to Queen Elizabeth II’s famous “recollections may vary” response.
Professor Maclaran said: “The Royal Family are taking the right stance because the way it is going is that Harry will burn himself out.
“If they make any reply, it risks exasperating the whole thing and we end up in a ‘he said, she said, they said’ battle. They would be horrified to start that and are probably scared to set anything else off.
“Keeping quiet is actually the best strategy because what accusations can they actually answer? Any of the ones are going to start a battle with who’s right.
“They may issue something like the Queen’s response ‘recollections may vary’. That was the perfect response to that situation. At the moment, there isn’t anything that risks the monarchy.”

Speaking on GB News, royal commentator Angela Levin also branded the Duke as “malicious” and “appalling”, arguing that, despite claims that he wanted reconciliation with the Firm following the fallout of last month’s Netflix series and his recent memoir Spare, this would prove difficult.
She said: “He has said he’ll agree to come in a very patronising way but it’s as if he’s doing all the organising and he says that he wants to talk first to go through everything.
“He wants an apology, especially for Meghan. Now you can bet your socks that he’s not just going to accept one apology. He’s going to want about 3,000 for things they’ve done wrong.
“We’ve seen that from his book and it will go on and on and on. And you can’t let somebody whose been so malicious win, you just can’t. It’s nothing to do with family, he’s thrown his family to the lions. He’s been absolutely appalling.”
