Harry Styles has been confirmed as the musician tasked with playing the first gig at Slane Castle since before the pandemic in 2019.
The former One Direction singer will be hoping he can join the ranks of music royalty such as the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie and Queen in putting on a show for the ages in Meath.
Harry will take to the stage on June 10, 2023 hot off the back of his recent sold-out gig in the Aviva Stadium during the summer.
Tickets will set fans back €97.10, yet knowing Harry’s fans we don’t think they’ll mind forking out to see him in the flesh.
The ‘As It Was’ singer is to be joined by special guests Inhaler and Wet Leg for the day-long event in the open-air venue.
Irish rockers Inhaler will be buzzing to play at the venue U2 made their own back in 2001 in one of their most talked about sets.

Uk indie rock duo Wet Leg may only have formed in 2019, but they’re fast rise to the top has secured them a place on the billing in what’s sure to be one of the best summer 2023 gigs.
The Slane concert is part of 19 newly announced Harry Styles’ shows in Europe along with the addition of new shows in Austin, Chicago, and São Paulo and a venue upgrade in Lima, Peru.
Produced by Live Nation, the now 83-date international tour has run across 22 countries will include 44 nights at many of North America’s most famous venues as well as 13 shows across Latin America and 7 nights in Australia & New Zealand.
Dropping in May this year, Harry’s third studio album ‘Harry’s House’ has dominated the airwaves for the past few months. ‘As It Was’ was on top of the Irish charts for 10 consecutive weeks before being eventually overthrown by Kate Bush.
Prior to going back on tour, Harry will be appearing alongside Florence Pugh in the thriller Don’t Worry Darling. Directed by his girlfriend Olivia Wilde, fans are eager to see how the musician fares in his first lead acting role on September 23.
The last act to play Slane was US rockers Metallica in 2019. US rapper Eminem was the last non-rock act to play Slane Castle back in 2013 as part of his Recovery tour.
