PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle should "go home" as Americans are now "not interested" in the couple, a Royal commentator has said.
The royal couple's plummeting popularity coincides with the publication of Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, and a string of high-profile interviews and a divisive Netflix documentary.
And Kinsey Schofield of the To Di For podcast warned Harry & Meghan should "go home" to the UK as she spoke to GB News after a damning poll last week showed how public opinion of the couple had turned.
She said: "I'm going to tell you something you do not want to hear: here in the States the conversation is Harry and Meghan need to apologise and they need to move back to the UK. That is literally what we're saying here in America, that they need to move back to the UK. I know that that's the last thing Brits want, so I apologise for bringing you that information."
Schofield went on to add: "They don't provide anything and I think that what we liked about them was their relation to the British Royal Family, so if they want to continue to be of value to anybody, I think that they've got to be closer to the British Royal Family."

Prince Andrew has been booted out of Buckingham Palace as the Royal Family faces crisis with Virginia Giuffre set to release a memoir with bombshells about paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told MailOnline: "Andrew may have secured an agreement for Virginia Roberts Giuffre never to speak out against him publicly when he settled her civil suit which alleged that she had had non-consensual sex with him on three occasions.
"If this is so, the fact that she is writing her memoir may not concern him and his legal team unduly. If not it will obviously be of very considerable concern.
"Andrew has undoubtedly been given hope by the settling of all legal issues between Giuffre and the top American lawyer Alan Dershowitz in which she admitted she “may have made a mistake” in claiming that he had abused her as a teenager.
"However to actually clear his name it would also be necessary to have some credibility in the court of public opinion where his ratings are terrible.
"He is in disgrace, cannot use his “HRH” and carries out no royal duties. He has not been convicted of any crime so he sees no reason to do penance, but he promised to help the FBI in their investigations into Epstein’s crimes and does not appear to have done so.
"If he attends a royal event it can overshadow it and King Charles and William are convinced he has no future as a working royal.
"For a real comeback, which the public would accept, he needs a miracle and not public support from prison from Ghislaine Maxwell, his close friend who is also a convicted sex offender. It is a Sisyphean task."
Together with Carolyn Durand, Omid Scobie wrote a biography about Harry and Meghan titled Finding Freedom.
He holds lots of sympathy for the couple, however, on the podcast Royally Obsessed he said that people will now have "Sussex fatigue" as the public has "had enough" of the drama.
He said: "In many ways, how can a regular person not have Sussex fatigue at this point? I almost feel it’s like my duty to follow it every step of the way.
"But I can understand how general members of the public have just had enough of hearing about the royal dramas in general.
"I sympathize with the Sussexes in some ways, because they’re only now getting to join the story at this very late stage. For many years, they weren’t able to share their side."
Valentine Lowe shared his prediction of how the Royal Family might have reacted to Kim Kardashian buying Princess Diana's Attallah cross with US Weekly.
Mr Lowe said: "I think they probably laugh at it. Laugh about it over the breakfast table and move on. [They] certainly wouldn’t be annoyed, I [don’t] think."
The US star bought the cross – which has a diamond weight of 5.25 carats – at an auction and it's composed of square-cut amethysts and circular-cut diamonds.
It's been confirmed that Prince Harry will be addressing business leaders at the Uplift summit in March.

Archie's former nanny, Lorren Khumalo, recalled the time she went for her job interview with Prince Harry.
She explained to Zenzele Ndebele on The Breakfast Club how he hugged her when she walked in and she immediately thought: "Wow, what a gentleman, what a gem."
She added: "I just felt so comfortable, it wasn't so formal as I expected it to be, it was just a normal home."
She even asked the protection officer whether she needed to curtsey before entering and he responded: "You'll see, Prince Harry is amazing," while laughing.
Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti told US Weekly that Prince Harry and the Royal Family might put their differences aside for a short period.
It comes as the Firm and Britain prepare to officially crown their new monarch on May 6, King Charles III.
Mr Sacerdoti said: "I suspect that there are some efforts going on to try and make some form of reconciliation.
"I think because they don’t want [family tensions] to upstage what’s going on on that very important day.
“Whether or not that’s possible is one thing, and whether or not it’s lasting is another thing. Even if they do manage to make some form of peace, [it] might be temporary.
"I think it’s going to be extremely difficult for them as a family — and more broadly, for the nation and for the Institution — to forgive what’s happened.”
Body language expert Darren Stanton told Marie Claire that Prince William and Kate seem "unfazed" by the drama caused by Spare.
The Prince and Princess of Wales visited the Foodshare food bank in Windsor where they helped out by packing food.
Mr Stanton said: "Kate and William seem completely unfazed by the drama surrounding Prince Harry.
"I feel that whatever thoughts and emotions they have regarding the current situation, they are doing their best to remain professional and have refrained from showing any leakage gestures.
"I cannot see any signs of deception or masking negative emotions towards Prince Harry. Instead, they appear completely at ease with each other.
"There is nothing to suggest it isn’t normal business as usual. Both royals seem to be completely comfortable in each other’s proximal zones and intimate space.
"During testing times, some couples often show small signs of discomfort or nerves; however William and Kate are continuing to stand united against Harry’s actions."

The news comes after the firm is said to be bracing for Meghan Markle to release her own memoir.
Royal biographer Angela Levin believes “all of this may come to a head just before the coronation”.
She told The Sun: “It’s a huge burden and it’s such a shame.
“It’s the first coronation since 1953 and it just looks as though people are doing this deliberately just to spoil it.”

While appearing on the Apple Fitness + podcast Time to Walk, Prince William revealed the 80s hit that he and his mother used to sing together.
He told the podcast: “When I was younger, Harry and I, we were at boarding school. And my mother used to play all sorts of songs to kind of while away the anxiety of going back to school.
“And one of the songs I massively remember and has stuck with me all this time, and I still, to this day, still quite enjoy secretly, is Tina Turner’s “The Best” because sitting in the backseat, singing away, it felt like a real family moment.
“And my mother, she’d be driving along, singing at the top of her voice. And we’d even get the policeman in the car, he’d be occasionally singing along, as well.”
