The Cambridge UCU will go on strike later this month
Today (8/11), the University and College Union (UCU) announced that strike action will take place on the 24th, 25th and 30th of November, following the announcement of strike action last month.
The Cambridge UCU will strike for better pay and better working conditions, in addition to striking against the 35 per cent proposed pension cuts by USS.
In a tweet, the UCU claim that with 70,000 members, the UCU will bring “the biggest picket lines in our history.”
Every single university in the UK will strike on the following dates:
Nov 2️⃣4️⃣
Nov 2️⃣5️⃣
Nov 3️⃣0️⃣
70,000 UCU members will be delivering the biggest picket lines in our history
