Ms Tin had been appointed director of public affairs and policy at Grab Singapore in January. Since then, people on social media have pointed out potential conflicts of interest between her role at Grab and as MP.
Karl Liew is accused of intentionally giving false evidence in 2018 by testifying that a cream polo T-shirt and a red blouse belonged to him. Parti Liyani, the domestic helper who worked for the Liew family, had her theft conviction overturned in 2020.
