Seoul has always fascinated me for a couple of reasons. It has a distinctive personality, part-whimsy (sculptures suspended in midair), part-tech wonder (very wired, super fast), that invites you to explore easily and endlessly.
Seoul has a serious side, too. It is one of the largest metro areas in the world, and Korea has one of the globe’s largest economies, thanks to electronics, cars, telecommunications and shipbuilding.
To see an urban area that has transformed itself in the last six decades is to understand the rewards of resilience. Seoul invites you to celebrate its spirit.
