Jeffrey Thomas Homan, 44, of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on August 18, 2022 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Jeff was born in Dayton, Ohio to Thomas & Nancy (Moeller) Homan on July 4, 1978. He attended Lakota High School in West Chester, Ohio and graduated from Ohio University. Jeff married Tara Duncan on November 2, 2002 in West Chester, Ohio. She survives with their sons, Evan and Cole. He was employed at MISO Energy in Carmel, Indiana. He was involved in Traders Point Christian Church, USA Climbing with his family, ALS Association and authored with his wife, Tara, a book entitled “Finish Well” written to their sons.
Jeff was proceeded in death by Theresa, his infant sister and Larry Duncan, his father-in-law, Grandparents, Othmar & Rita (Reinhart) Homan, Arthur & Florentine (Knapke) Moeller. He is survived by his parents, Nancy and Tom and Kathy Dawson Duncan, mother-in-law, as well as his sisters, Jennifer (Kenneth-KC) Tener, Elizabeth (Dwayne) Mcduffie, and brother, Douglas (Brittany) Homan. His in-laws, Brian (Sarah) Duncan, Amanda (Ryan) O’Neil. Also, his nieces & nephews, Cameron, Christopher, Logan, Stella, Grace, Lola, Brody, Kensington, Sullivan, Britton, Remington, Callaway.
Jeff’s Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 10 am, at Traders Point Christian Church North, 1242 W. 136th Street, Carmel, IN 46032.
There will not be traditional calling hours with the family prior to or after the service, however cards will be provided in the lobby for guests to express their love, condolences, support and memories of Jeff, for Tara, Evan and Cole to treasure.
