If you were born in the late 90s or early 00s then you may remember playing absolute bangers using one of McDonald's retro toys – the plastic MP3 player. Now, a retro games account on TikTok has reignited fond memories after collected the Happy Meal toys from over 10 years ago and sharing videos of the various tracks, including songs from the Sugarbabes.
When the toys first came out before 2010, you would get a small plastic speaker with a card which would play snippets from different songs, accompanied by the artist's face. The MP3 players evolved over the years giving its customers the most popular songs at the time, but there has not been anything quite like it ever since.
The toys were among some of the favourites children and Happy Meal fans could get at the time. The various tracks included 'Crazy Frog', Bob Sinclar's 'Rock This Party' and Girls Aloud's 'Call The Shots', amongst many others.

A second said: "Kids these days will never understand." Someone else commented: "The old toys just hit different."
A third viewer wrote: "Thank you. I remembered my 5 years childhood. I want to go back." Someone else said: "Best happy meal toy."
Another confessed: "My mom had to hide these from me because I wouldn't leave them alone". While someone else penned: "Miss this era."
"Omg wow. I remember I had the black eyed peas one and kept playing it on repeat" added another TikTok user.
