The 2022 Qatar World Cup is set to take FIFA 23 by storm
The count down to the release of FIFA 23 is on, with the official date edging closer.
From the addition of Women’s football to an overhauled Chemistry system in Ultimate Team to the innovative AcceleRATE and Hypermotion2 technology, there are plenty of new features coming to FIFA 23.
Find out about every single new feature hitting FIFA 23 this year below.
EA has completely revamped the Chemistry system in Ultimate Team this year.
The key changes coming to the FUT Chemistry system are as follows:
Players can earn up to three Chemistry Points by having players of the same Nationality/Region, League and Club in your Starting XI.
Adding players to your Starting XI of the same Nationality/Region, League and Club will earn Chemistry by reaching thresholds. Here’s how it works:
You will only need one additional player from the same Club or Nationality/Region to unlock the first point of Chemistry.
Matching both Club and Nationality/Region will gain 2 Chemistry.
HyperMotion2 is set to take gameplay to a whole new level.
The new feature will bring over 6,000 touches to the game, making every moment feel unique in FIFA 23.
Effectively, HyperMotion2 will bring major changes to FIFA 23, with Xsens Suits used to capture and collect match data from real-life games.
EA has stated on the FIFA 23 website:
AcceleRATE is a new feature coming to FIFA 23 for next-gen only.
It is designed to distinguish between different running styles for players, splitting them into three categories depending on how fast they can get off the mark, and how long they can maintain a high speed.
This will provide more realistic gameplay and highlight player personalities on the pitch and create more diverse player types.

Something the FIFA 23 reveal trailer made clear was that pre-match will have a totally different feel in the new game.
A more immersive experience will hype you up before a big game, with cut scenes of crowds gathering outside the stadium.
New commentary will add to the matchday build-up, with HyperMotion2 giving more realism than ever before and Augmented Reality Replays providing extra detail to your play.
As EA has stated on their website:
EA Sports have confirmed the arrival of cross-play in FIFA 23.
EA stated the following:
Chelsea’s Sam Kerr has made history as the first female player to feature on a global FIFA cover, sitting next to Kylian Mbappe on the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23.
As well as this, club football will be arriving for the very first time, with the WSL and Div 1 Arkema featuring in this year’s game.
