Fresh from an IDC report showing that it became the No. 3 smartphone brand in the Philippines in the second quarter of 2022, Infinix Mobile is prepping to launch a smartphone in the budget category.
The Infinix Hot 11 2022 is about to go on sale soon, as we at Revü have discovered. The said model is already listed on both Shopee and Lazada, though it seems that the latter will take preorders for it first — from August 26 to September 8, the listing on the e-commerce platform says. It also shows the P5,799 (roughly $103) suggested retail price. The one on Shopee, on the other hand, states that the phone will be available from August 30.
The Infinix Hot 11 2022 relies on a Unisoc T610 chip that also powers entry-level devices such as Infinix’s own Hot 12 Play, Realme C25Y, Realme C21Y, and Umidigi Power 7 Max. The SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.
Thank goodness we’re not seeing an outdated waterdrop-screen design here. At the top center of its 6.7-inch FHD+ display is a punch hole where the 8-megapixel selfie camera sits. On the back panel with magic-trails pattern is a 13-megapixel dual camera with Pro, Slo-mo Video, HDR, Time Lapse, and Super Night modes.
The Infinix Hot 11 2022 likewise packs dual speakers, a 3.55mm headphone jack, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10-watt USB-C charging, a power key that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, and Android 11 layered with XOS 10 Lite. It’s available in Sunset Gold, Aurora Green, and Polar Black.
