Police have been called to a Somerset restaurant as council workers carry out an investigation into "housing conditions and food safety".
A large police presence was spotted at Lopen Raj near South Petherton at around 12.30pm on Wednesday (September 2).
Witnesses reported several police vehicles were parked outside the restaurant on Lopen Lane as an investigation took place.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary has confirmed officers were assisting South Somerset District Council at the location.
A spokesman for the council has revealed a licensing operation was taking place and investigations are currently ongoing.
The council spokesman said: "Investigations into housing conditions and food safety prompted us to make a formal visit to the premises with police assistance.
"Due to ongoing investigations, we cannot give any more information at this present time."
The spokesman added that evidence and statements were being gathered by the local authority.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "We attended shortly before 11am to assist the council with a licensing matter."
Somerset Live has approached Lopen Raj for comment.
