A brand new Northamptonshire pub will donate £2 for every Chicken Kyiv sold to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal. Greedy Gordons Pub Group has opened The Snooty Fox in the beautiful village of Lowick, near Thrapston.
It is the third pub from Richard Gordon and Sonya Harvey, who also run award-winning The Red Lion at Cranford and The Pig & Waffle at Grafton Underwood.
The new inn, which Gordon and Harvey have battled for over two years to open due to the challenges of Covid-19, has created around 40 new jobs for local people.

Gordon and Harvey want The Snooty Fox to be a social hub for locals to meet, as well as attract visitors from around the county keen to enjoy the pub’s excellent food and drinks offer.
Richard, who won a gold award for F&B Achiever of the Year in the Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards 2020/21, said: “Following lots of bumps in the road due to the challenges of the pandemic, we are thrilled to have finally opened the doors to The Snooty Fox.
"We can’t wait for people to come and experience this cracking pub for themselves.
"Whether you are looking for a place to meet for a quick drink and snack with friends, a pub for a delicious mid-week lunch or a Sunday roast with the family or a venue to treat yourself for a special occasion The Snooty Fox has it all.”

The pub’s frequently changing menus and specials celebrate amazing local and British produce, with the pub’s team of chefs crafting dishes from the best seasonal ingredients.
Later this year some of The Snooty Fox’s dishes will feature delicious fresh fruit and vegetables from its own kitchen garden, which is being set up on land in nearby Brigstock.
The Snooty Fox’s head chef Luke Marsh, whose first head chef role was with Michelin-starred chef Clive Dixon at Snooty Inns – a previous owner of The Snooty Fox.
Luke’s 20 years of experience also includes Stamford’s Slanted Door and The George of Stamford, as well as running a tapas restaurant in southern Spain.
He said: “It is amazing and emotional to be back at The Snooty Fox, which is such a wonderful pub. Our menus are about respecting the incredible produce we are sourcing from some of Britain’s, and the world’s, best suppliers and letting its wonderful flavours do the talking.”
"The amazing seafood and steaks we hero on our menu are cooked simply on our excellent wood-fired grill, which gives the food such a delicious flavour.”
The Snooty Fox is serving a delicious Chicken Kyiv, which has been renamed by many pubs and restaurants around the globe as part of a "Kievs 4 Kyiv" initiative in support of Ukraine.
For every dish sold at the pub, £2 is being donated to the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal. The pub has also undergone an extensive refurbishment, to create a traditional country pub interior combined with a modern, industrial feel.
There is a beautiful handmade elm bar, hand-painted fox murals along with striking design features including opulent chandeliers, gold bathroom basins and beer barrel urinals, to a fabricator’s cabinet which is featured on Channel 4 show Mend it for Money.
Greedy Gordons Pub Group plan to open a new farm shop at the pub this Easter offering a great range of local produce as well as serving drinks and snacks to walkers and cyclists.
