Ahead of the 20th anniversary of Jet2.com operating award-winning flights to Nice on Saturday (8th April), Jet2holidays has announced that it will launch package holidays to the South of France for the first time this summer.
The UK’s largest tour operator is giving customers and independent travel agents the opportunity to book a package holiday to the South of France in Summer 23 after putting four new resorts on sale in the region. The new resorts on sale are Menton, Antibes, Saint Raphael and Villefranche sur Mer and are ideal for couples, individuals and families looking to explore the South of France’s sandy beaches, glitzy restaurants and yacht filled marinas. These new resorts are in addition to the existing resort of Cannes which was previously on sale with Jet2CityBreaks and is now available through Jet2holidays.
As a result of the launch, Jet2holidays has over 20 2-5 star hotels, including La Villa Port D’Antibes & Spa and AC Hotel by Marriott Ambassadeur Antibes Juan les Pins both in Antibes that are available to book now across the five resorts. It means holidaymakers looking to enjoy a holiday in the South of France can take advantage of all the benefits of booking a package holiday with Jet2holidays, including VIP customer service, private transfers and ATOL protection, along with friendly flight times to Nice and a generous 22kg baggage allowance with Jet2.com. Customers can also upgrade their booking to include car hire, giving them the opportunity to explore the sun-kissed south and freedom to come and go as they like.
As well as offering flights and holidays to Nice and the South of France this Summer 23, customers can also book a city break with Jet2CityBreaks to Nice or Monte Carlo this summer. In response to demand to its city break offering, Jet2CityBreaks has recently added a number of hotels to its portfolio of properties in Monte Carlo. It means that Jet2CityBreaks has over 25 2-5 star hotels available to book now in Nice and Monte Carlo for Summer 23, offering customers the chance to experience both city and beach, as well as a rich culture combined with beautiful coastline.
Customers can choose from a flight-only booking with leading leisure airline, Jet2.com, or a package option with Jet2CityBreaks available for a low £60 per person deposit. Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include flights with Jet2.com, including 22kg free hold luggage and 10kg of free cabin baggage, as well as a choice of 2-5-star hotels in the best locations.

This news follows the announcement that Jet2.com has expanded its flying programme to Nice for Summer 23, giving customers and independent travel agents even more opportunity to visit the destination. The leading leisure airline has more than doubled its flying programme to Nice, after adding services from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, and Manchester Airports for Summer 23. The company has a brand-new and exclusive route from Birmingham Airport on sale, doubled the frequency of services from Leeds Bradford Airport and have more flights from Manchester Airport for the Rugby World Cup in September.
The expansion means Jet2.com is offering up to seven weekly services to Nice for Summer 23 and comes in direct response from customers flocking to book their Summer 23 flight and city breaks.
The extra services give customers and independent travel agents great choice and flexibility when it comes to reaching the glamour of the world-famous Cote A’Zur and are as follows:
Birmingham Airport
Brand-new and exclusive route to Nice, means up to two weekly services (Monday and Friday) from 26th May 2023 and 16th October 2023.
Leeds Bradford Airport
Introduction of a second weekly service means the airline and tour operator have doubled their frequency to Nice for Summer 23. With up to two weekly services (Monday and Friday) from 26th May 2023 and 16th October 2023, flights are perfectly timed for holidaymakers looking to enjoy a long weekend on the French Riviera.
Manchester Airport
Extra Monday and Friday services to Nice added from 8th and 25th September 2023, means two daily services on these days during this period. The new flights are perfectly timed for rugby fans looking to travel to France for the Rugby World Cup. This is on top of the three weekly services (Monday, Friday and Saturday) the airline will operate this summer.
The news comes as Jet2.com prepares to celebrate 20 years of operating award-winning flights to Nice this weekend (Saturday 8th April). On 8th April 2003, the first Jet2.com flight landed in Nice from Leeds Bradford Airport and over two decades later the company has enjoyed tremendous growth, both through Jet2.com and city break specialist Jet2CityBreaks. Today, the companies operate to Nice from three of their UK bases (Birmingham, Leeds Bradford and Manchester Airports) and this summer they have over 60,000 seats on sale. For Summer 24, the airline will also start operating services to Nice from London Stansted Airport.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of package holidays to the South of France with Jet2holidays. The launch of package holidays to the South of France means holidaymakers can access this fantastic destination and enjoy the long coast of sandy beaches, glitzy restaurants and yacht filled marinas it is known for.
