Li Auto has launched its first seven electric vehicle charging stations along five national highways to pave the way for the launch of its first pure battery car later this year, according to a statement released on April 22. Each station is equipped with facilities that can sustain a 4C charging rate of around 480 kilowatts, as well as 250-kw direct current fast-charging facilities that the company says can charge batteries from a low state to 80% in just 30 minutes. An additional 25 new charging stations will be operational by the end of May, with the goal of reaching 300 stations by the end of the year. The company currently offers three plug-in hybrid crossovers for sale. [Li Auto announcement, in Chinese]
