By Sweta Singh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Bali on Monday, November 14 to attend the two-day long G-20 summit. The prime minister has around 20 engagements lined up within 45 hours, including several bilateral meetings with other world leaders and a community event to connect with the Indian diaspora in Indonesia.
Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said the prime minister will participate in three key sessions – food and energy security, digital transformation and health. The prime minister will join other leaders from around the globe in discussing several issues, including the state of the global economy, issues relating to energy, environment, agriculture, health and digital transformation.
He is also expected to focus on India’s perspective on addressing key global challenges in the areas of health, post-pandemic economic recovery and energy and food security at the summit.

The summit will also be attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping, US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron, among others.
According to Vinay Kwatra, PM Modi will also hold separate bilateral meetings with several leaders on the sidelines of the summit. He added that these meetings are still in the process of being scheduled.
At the closing ceremony of the summit, Indonesia will hand over the G-20 Presidency to India for a one-year period. Kwatra said PM Modi will also utilise the opportunity of his presence at the Bali summit to invite leaders to India's G20 summit.
