Huawei today confirmed that the 2022 Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) event will start on October 21 and the company will bring some new technologies including the HarmonyOS operating system’s development kits.
Every year, Huawei organizes these events to launch new software for consumer products and helps developers to use and implement the latest Huawei software in their apps and software solutions.
According to the information, Huawei will bring new five scenario user experiences for the consumers including smart home, smart office, audio-visual entertainment, smart travel, and sports health.
Since Huawei has already launched HarmonyOS 3.0 on all of its available platforms, the company wants to keep on encouraging developers to make new apps for this operating system.
In the process, the company has held a number of HarmonyOS-related sessions at HDC 2022. These sessions aim to expand the use cases of HarmonyOS and build a better developer and app ecosystem for the consumers.
There will also be developer activities and live sessions with the company’s top developer body as well as Q&As to resolve developer queries on the spot.
Furthermore, the event will allow developers and general consumers to experience a number of new Huawei products as well as other fun and entertaining activities.
When and where?
As revealed by Huawei, the 2022 Huawei HDC event will start on October 21 to October 23. The first day will be marked as an opening and announcement including keynotes from top officials.
Aside from HarmonyOS, Huawei will also shed focus on the Huawei Developers kits and Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). Be mentioned, Huawei has also put Android on the agenda, which didn’t happen during the last HDC.
Currently, we cannot hope that Huawei will bring us a s new HarmonyOS version – HarmonyOS 4.0 during the HDC show, instead, it could further improve the developer’s community and aim to increase apps for the rest of the year.
We’ll bring the complete details of the HDC 2022 show, so stay connected.

2022 is about to conclude and Huawei is planning one more launch event to wrap up this year. Eventually, it looks like the company has seemingly saved a handful of gadgets for its users as Christmas offerings.
According to a well-known Weibo tipster – @DirectorShiGuan, Huawei will launch Watch Buds in the next month. The bashing product already leaked to the public and will soon take place on the official consumer platform.
Alongside this sci-fi device, Huawei will also release the Nova 10 SE smartphone. On the other hand, the phone has already launched in the global market, the company will now unveil it for hometown users.
Additionally, the launch list showcases the name of Huawei FreeBuds 5i and the Children Watch 5 series. Hence, we could find a total of four brand-new smart devices in the next month. This also hints that Huawei will conduct the last launch event somewhere in December this year.
Huawei Nova 10 SE?
Notably, the tipster uses the term “released again” for Nova 10 SE which is a little confusing. The phone has already been on posters in the Chinese market for a long time.
On the flip side, we have been looking for the FreeBuds 5 headset that is rumored to launch by the end of this year.
Consequently, things regarding the upcoming headsets aren’t crystal clear for the moment. Since there is enough time for the next launch event, we will update you with the latest hints on this matter.
Is Mate X3 coming?
In addition to the closing launch conference, the tipster also gave hints about the dynamic Mate X3 smartphone. Not now, but if everything goes right, we may see the flagship foldable in January next year. Besides, the phone might use the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 4G chipset.
There are a lot of inputs and pinches that will appear in the time ahead regarding Huawei’s last launch event of this year. Being a wrap-up event, we could find a few more hidden surprises as well. Let’s see what else Huawei is bringing as a Christmas gift for its fans.

Huawei is constantly introducing new communication and digital solutions in Nigeria. So far, Huawei has deployed 27500 communication sites in Nigeria to relieve users with a better communication experience.
Accordingly, the tech maker is making some seamless efforts in South Africa. Up to this point, Huawei has launched many programs and solutions that can help Nigeria in the digital, network as well as communication aspects.
In Nigeria, Huawei has uprooted around 27500 communication sites and up to 10,000 km of fiber in the region. Ultimately, this initiative has helped more than 60% population to connect with high-end network facilities.
On the flip side, the respective network systems also help in reducing communication costs. Thus, both network operators and users can enjoy productive and convenient services at minimal rates.

LEAP Program for ICT development
Alongside tech sources, Huawei is also providing knowledge to the Nigerian youth. Recently, the manufacturer has launched an effective digital skills development program (LEAP) and provided 3000+ ICT courses.
LEAP stands for Leadership, Employability, Advancement, and Possibility. Eventually, this program will improve the ICT infrastructure within three years. Thus, Huawei’s digital efforts will give a new face to Nigeria in the time ahead.
Huawei South Africa President – Leo Chen put forth his points on how digitization and ICT development can add more numbers to the growth rate of Nigeria.
“Digitization is deeply rooted in people. Because we digitize for people and by people. When roots are deep, there is no need to fear the wind. Through the LEAP program, we strive to cultivate more youth leaders in ICT who can explore more possibilities for themselves, their families, community, and ultimately their nations.”
Consequently, Huawei will take more actions that can help users in Nigeria to connect better with digitalization. Let’s see what new solutions will the company initiate to enhance digital scenarios in South Africa.

Huawei Mate X2 folding phone and the ultimate Mate 40 series are back in the sale stage. Despite the lack of Huawei Kirin 9000 chipsets, the devices are available for buying purposes but with some hidden twists.
To begin with, earlier we reported that the Mate X2 foldable is no longer available on the official Huawei website (Vmall). The reason behind the device’s unavailability could be the shortage of Kirin 9000 processors.
However, the latest input reveals that users can still purchase the Mate X2 phones. Though Huawei has removed folding smartphones from its official stores, they are still available at third-party offline stores.
In addition to the Mate X2 devices, the Huawei Mate 40 series is also aligned on the sale platform. The only difference is that the foldable gadget is now selling via offline stores. While the Mate 40 series is accessible at online shopping channels.
Are Kirin 9000 chipsets in stock?
The available stock of Mate X2 and Mate 40 has given rise to a significant question – Are Kirin 9000 chipsets in stock? Previously, the company stated that the respective chips are no longer available for an unlimited period.
But as per the latest hints, there is still a limited supply of Kirin 9000 processors. Although it is quite difficult to say how much stock is left.
On the sideways, the input also suggests that the tech maker has not stopped the Mate X2 or Mate 40 smartphone production. Perhaps, we could find these devices back on the official websites.
When Kirin processors will return?
It’s worth mentioning that both Mate X2 and Mate 40 models equip the dynamic Kirin 9000 chips on their surface. The tech processor uproots over a 5nm process and features an octa-core framework.
In the meantime, we heard several tweaks regarding the return of the Kirin chipsets. Yet Huawei didn’t emit any word on this concept. Recently, Kirin chipset entered a new video-sharing platform. Thus, we could assume a comeback of the Kirin chips in the time ahead.
