Last updated: 30 March 2023
The year will begin with the 2023 list of the world’s most international universities on 25 January, followed by a busy month for rankings in March.
On 6 March, to celebrate International Women’s Day, we publish our list of the top universities led by women; on 23 March our teaching-focused Japan University Rankings will be launched; and on 29 March the China Subject Ratings are published.
On 30 May we will launch the fifth edition of our Impact Rankings, with the results revealed at THE’s Global Sustainable Development Congress, hosted in partnership with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. The Impact Rankings are global performance tables that assess universities against the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We use carefully calibrated indicators to provide comprehensive and balanced comparison across four broad areas: research, stewardship, outreach and teaching.
Our World University Rankings 2024 will be released on 26 September at our flagship World Academic Summit in Australia. The event is hosted in partnership with the University of Sydney and the theme is collaborating for greatness in a multidisciplinary world. It will examine the role of higher education leaders and policymakers in diversifying and broadening ambitions and approaches to current global education systems.
