Opened in July 2022, favehotel Nagoya Batam is situated in the city centre of Batam and designed for travelling business folks. You could even make this your Work From Hotel spot!
The fabroom (from S$75/night) resembles a whole flat rather than your typical hotel room. There are facilities like a kitchenette with an induction stove and full-size fridge, so you can whip up a meal or two or heat up some leftovers.

Opened in 2019 before the start of the pandemic, Beverly Hotel Batam is a low-key gem which not many Singaporeans are privy to. With cushy rooms from under S$50/night, staying here would be quite the steal considering the hotel is 4 stars. It’s already amassed close to 400 Google reviews though, with a solid consumer rating of 4.5 stars.
The rooms are classically designed, clad in warm tones and marble finishes in the bathrooms. For Superior Rooms, you’ll get a bathtub as well – and it’ll still be well under S$100/night.

To fuel up, their in-house eatery Anambas Restaurant serves up an international buffet ranging from continental breakfast to sushi.
There are plenty of positive reviews online for the food from both local guests as well as travellers, and you really ought to try their rendition of local dishes like ayam bakar – charcoal-grilled chicken, and kambing asam pedas – a tangy and spicy mutton stew.

This is technically a revamp, but Batam View Beach Resort has undergone such a major facelift in 2021 that staying here would be a whole new experience. The upgrading involved refreshing the exterior of the building – which had been erected in 1986 – and renovating the 212 rooms throughout the resort.
New additions include bigger conference halls that can fit up to 300 pax, and a Spa Village which houses a salon, treatment rooms, steam baths and saunas, and a gym.
