Yelp’s new list of top 100 restaurants in the Midwest includes nine spots in Michigan, spanning from Detroit to Hazel Park, Lake Orion to Grand Rapids.
While breakfast, lunch and brunch spot Bread and Yolk in Lake Orion came in at No. 14, two Detroit mainstays ranked lower. For example, the beloved Dime Store on Griswold in downtown Detroit was ranked No. 92 on the list. Dime Store owners recently announced a second location is planned for Rochester Hills.
Midtown Detroit’s Selden Standard came in at No. 84.
Yelp’s No. 1 restaurant in the Midwest is Blues City Deli in St. Louis, Missouri.
The top 100 list features eateries in a dozen states: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
