Supertall Skyscraper Planned for Oklahoma City Is Fully Funded
Funding has been secured for an Oklahoma City skyscraper that is planned to be the tallest in the U.S. Developer Scot Matteson said that he has secured the $1.5 billion required for the supertall tower, along with three smaller towers around it, collectively known as the Boardwalk at Bricktown. If approved and completed, the building, designed by Californian architecture studio AO, will reach a height of 1,907 feet, making it not only the tallest in the country but the fifth tallest in the world. An Aging Population and Slowing Economy Are Impacting South Korea Home Prices
The days of soaring property prices are over in South Korea. “The population is aging and the economy is growing by just 2% to 3% each year,” said Park Sang-woo, the country’s minister of land, infrastructure and transport. “There is no way house prices will rise as they did in the past.” South Korea’s median house prices hit a peak in June 2021 after rising 45% over five years. The Priciest Counties in the U.S. Are in California
California is home to four of the five most expensive housing markets in the U.S., according to data from the Census Bureau. Santa Clara County, which includes San Jose, Palo Alto and Stanford, ranked as the priciest county in the country, with a median home price of $1.583 million. San Mateo County ranked second, Marin County placed third, and San Francisco County took the fourth spot. Nantucket County, in Massachusetts, rounded out the top five. USA Today
