Supply Remains Short on Martha’s Vineyard, Causing Prices to Stay High
A lack of supply on the resort island of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, kept prices elevated—and still on the rise—in the first quarter of the year, according to LINK, the Island’s primary multiple listing service. Indeed, in April 2020, there were close to 300 properties listed for sale on the Vineyard, while three years later, there were about 80, the data showed. Meanwhile, the median sale price of a home on the island rose to $1.5 million. “The continued increase in both asking and sales prices are a direct reflection of the significant scarcity in available property listings,” according to the report. “Our supply is woefully below pre-Covid levels.” MV Times
U.S. Real Estate Marketplace Launches to Sell Homes in Cash or Crypto

Only Texas-based properties can be listed on the platform currently, although the company plans to expand in June. The Dallas Morning News
London Home With Garden By Chelsea Flower Show Winner Lists for £3.45 Million
A Victorian home in London with a private garden designed by an RHS Chelsea Flower Show winner has hit the market for £3.45 million (US$4.28 million) with Savills. The four-bedroom residence offers a glass extension in the back that opens to the garden. The west-facing outdoor space, designed by Chelsea Flower Show winner Darren Hawkes, includes a copper swinging egg chair, cedar cladding and shelving and an outdoor kitchen. “The garden had to work hard to provide screening from neighboring properties. The toughest task was to create a garden that could accommodate a trampoline which could be removed in the future without compromising the design,” Mr. Hawkes said. House Beautiful
