Hair stylist-turned-entrepreneur Jim Markham has snapped up a $6.2 million condo in the Beverly West building in Los Angeles. Located on the 14th floor, the modern condo was sold fully furnished and at a slight discount from its original asking price of just under $7 million. A tiny home in Sydney has sold for the not-so-tiny price of A$1.75 million (US$1.16 million) at auction on Monday. That’s higher than the city’s median house price of about A$1.6 million. The two-bedroom, one-bathroom sits on a lot of land that’s 291 square meters, but the home itself is much smaller. Home prices in Ireland rose nationally by an average of 3.8% during the second quarter compared to the first, according to a report from Daft.ie. The typical list price was €340,398 (US$363,742), 6.7% higher than a year ago and 35% higher than at the onset of the Covid pandemic. Cities in Galway and Limerick saw some of the highest price increases, which were up more than 12% year over year. In Dublin, prices rose 4.7% from the year prior. World Property Journal

John C. May, chairman and CEO of John Deere, is selling his horse farm, located in Port Byron, Illinois, near the Iowa border. Listed for $3.925 million, the 80-acre property includes a 2,864-square-foot barndominium—a barn-condo mashup—that has two bedrooms and five bathrooms.
