Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison hired 13 partners, primarily from U.S. rival Kirkland & Ellis, who specialize in private equity transactions. The hires in New York, California and London include 12 partners from Kirkland and one partner from Linklaters with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, debt finance and capital markets and tax matters. New York-founded Paul Weiss, which has about 1,000 lawyers globally, said it will also open a Los Angeles office as part of the group hire. Read more about the moves.
