Median Home Price Surpasses $2 Million in Silicon Valley
Home prices continued to skyrocket in the San Francisco Bay Area in April, surpassing $2 million in two counties that encompass Silicon Valley. In Santa Clara County, the median sale price crossed the $2 million threshold for the first time, hitting a new high, while San Mateo’s median sale price of $2.15 million was actually down from a pandemic peak of $2.4 million in 2022, but up from $1.97 million last April.
