On Tuesday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded and violently searched many homes across the occupied West Bank, abducted at least fourteen Palestinians, including two teenage boys, and injured three.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted six Palestinians and injured two in several parts of the city.
The soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes in several parts of the governorate and abducted Baha’ Taqtouq from the Dahia area, Hamza Mahmoud Ja’ara from Al-Quds Street, and Majed An-Nouri from Sufian Street in Nablus City, Mohammad Anwar Mona, a journalist from Zawata town, Hamza Al-Jarf, and Khalil Marshoud from the Balata refugee camp.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers detonated the main door of Abu Marshoud’s home before storming the property and abducting the son, Khalil, who was shot by the soldiers in the pelvis, intestines, and kidney three weeks ago and is still recovering from his wounds.
The soldiers caused damage to several invaded homes in Nablus city and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion before the soldiers shot two young men with live fire and a third Palestinian who suffered a bullet fragment wound to one of his eyes.
Also, Palestinian fighters exchanged fire with the soldiers in a few areas in Nablus, especially in the Balata refugee camp.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Tareq Barghouthi, the representative of the leftist Progressive Student’s Block at Birzeit University, after stopping him at the military roadblock at the entrance of Nabi Saleh town, northwest of the city.
In Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, the soldiers abducted Mofeed Awad Abu Alia and his son, Zaghloul, Moayyad Atallah Abu Alia, and Mo’taz Abdul-Majid Abu Alia, after the army invaded their homes and ransacked them.
In related news, the soldiers abducted three Palestinians, including two teenage boys, in Bethlehem, in the West Bank.
The abducted are Ehab Ahmad Thawabta, 29, from Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, Mohammad Issam Hamamra, 17, and Sabri Mohammad Hamamra, 17, from Husan village, west of the city.
In Hebron, in the West Bank’s southern part, the soldiers invaded Doura town, southwest of the city, and searched homes.
