Advisory and administrative support provider Vistra has appointed Phillipe Lanciers as commercial director of the Luxembourg division.
In the role, Lanciers will be tasked with continuing the alternative investment sector’s growth in Luxembourg and the wider region.
Lanciers has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He joins from Arendt Regulatory & Consulting, where he spent more than four years heading business development and projects.
He has served in numerous senior roles at other firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Citibank, RBC I&TS and BNP Paribas.
Commenting on his appointment, Lanciers says: “It is an exciting time to join an organisation like Vistra, where it is clearly growing and leading the way in the industry. I look forward to working with the team and contributing to help clients achieve their business goals.”
Jervis Smith, country managing director for Luxembourg, adds: “We are seeing a dramatic increase in the alternative space in Luxembourg as fund managers are recognising that managing funds is becoming more complex, hence, needing a service provider who can seamlessly help them establish, grow and manage their funds. This is where Vistra comes in, and why we are thrilled to have Philippe join our team.”
