And he also said all 24 members of his squad are fit and well as they prepare for the League C Group 2 home game against Kosovo on Saturday (24 September) and away fixture against Greece next Tuesday (27 September).
Baraclough admitted he was frustrated by the Nations League results in June when Northern Ireland drew two and lost two.
“This is a chance to right some of the wrongs from the results that we had (in June),” he pointed out.
The return of experienced internationals such as Josh Magennis and Corry Evans has bolstered the group and the Northern Ireland manager said he has a “much stronger squad” with a “more familiar look” at his disposal ahead of the two matches.
However, he also said it was important to continue to nurture younger players, too.
The Northern Ireland manager further revealed training this week will focus on attacking play.
“We want to create chances and we want to be a threat to the opposition, and we have got the armoury in the squad to be able to go and do that,” he revealed
