MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – The roadmap to implement the memorandum of cooperation between the Industry Ministry of Belarus and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products was signed in China on 2 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.
The document was penned by Belarus’ Deputy Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov and President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products Zhang Yujing.
The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products brings together more than 10,000 large state-owned enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses of China.
During the meeting, Aleksandr Yefimov and Zhang Yujing discussed plans to organize business missions of Chinese companies to Belarus, the search for partners to launch joint ventures, as well as the implementation of investment projects.
Deputy Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov was part of a Belarusian delegation led by Economy Minister Aleksandr Chervyakov. Aleksandr Yefimov took part in a meeting of an expert group on the development of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone. He delivered a report on the potential and benefits of creating and localizing operations in Belarus. He told the Chinese side how businesses can scale up their operations in Belarus and increase their presence on the EAEU market.
