MINSK, 25 July (BelTA) – An air transport agreement between the government of Belarus and the government of Oman was signed by Director of the Aviation Department of the Belarusian Transport Ministry Igor Golub and Head of the Civil Aviation Authority Naif Ali Hamed Al Abri of Oman in the city of Muscat, BelTA learned from the press service of the Transport Ministry.
The agreement is aimed at regulating operational and technical aspects in air transport between the two countries and is the legal basis for the operation and organization of flights, which will further enable the designated air carriers to operate passenger and cargo flights between the airports of Belarus and Oman.
The agreement will also contribute towards the strengthening of tourism, economic and commercial ties between the countries.
