Police searching for missing 56-year-old John Woodman from Bury have sadly found a body.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Mr Woodman was last seen leaving his home in Spring Vale Drive, Tottington, on May 22.
He left his mobile phone and bank card behind but his blue Ford Galaxy was found at the Black Bull Inn in Bolton, less than 200 yards from the Wayoh Reservoir.
Specialist underwater search teams were called to help and spent six days scouring the water.
Police also enrolled the help of the North West Underwater Search Unit and Bolton's Mountain Rescue Team to aid with the hunt for Mr Woodman.
Officers from the search unit had been regularly diving into the reservoir and using Radar technology in an attempt to find any clues.
Bury chief inspector Jane Morgan issued an appeal directly to the missing man asking him to contact the police.
