Rents Stabilize in Australia For First Time in Three Years
Tenants in Australia hoping for better renting conditions might be in luck after new data revealed that house rents have held steady for the first time in three years. Home Listings Increasing in Northeast Florida as Prices Become More Affordable
The housing market is growing stronger in Northeast Florida, local realtors say. The number of homes on the market is up significantly from last year, and they’re growing more affordable, according to data from the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors. Plans for ‘Upside-Down’ Skyscraper Revealed in Saudi Arabia
Designs for an “upside-down skyscraper” have been unveiled for the Saudi Arabian mega-development Neom. Aquellum, as it’s been dubbed, is designed by LAVA and Name Architecture inside a mountain and will be centered around an underwater open square that will be reached via a hidden underground canal. More Seattle Residents Are Living Alone Than Ever Before
Though soaring inflation has made the already-pricey Seattle an even more expensive city to live in, more of its residents are living alone than ever before. In 2022, Seattle had a record 156,000 one-person households, up 20% from 2019, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. That’s nearly 43% of Seattle households in 2022, and 75% of residents living alone were renters. Across the 50 largest U.S. metro areas, Seattle had the second-largest increase of share of one-person households, beat only by Miami.
