More Options for Buyers in Southern Colorado
Those looking for homes in Colorado may want to head south. More homes are coming on the market in the southern part of the state, and prices are even starting to fall in some areas. The number of closed deals on houses in Pueblo and Fremont counties during April dropped nearly 20% and 37%, respectively, from the same time last year, according to a report from the Colorado Association of Realtors. China Introducing New Policies to Jumpstart Housing Market
China has announced major plans to address its housing crisis. On Friday, officials unveiled a nationwide scheme that includes easing mortgage rules to make down payments more affordable and encouraging local authorities to purchase unsold properties. Australian Apartment Rents Are Rising Faster Than House Rents
In every capital city in Australia except Adelaide, apartment rents are now rising faster than rents for houses. For example, in Sydney, apartment rents rose by 2.9% during the first quarter, while house rents were up 2.7%.
