As the new month of October begins, we witness the number of new executive roles plummeting this week as the digital winter increases its effect on the Forex, Crypto and Fintech universe. Let’s review the executives that have taken on new roles and challenges in our executive moves roundup of the week.
Tim Plummer has been appointed as the new Head of Product Strategy at the global trading platform, Capital.com after a short stint as the Head of Trading at Zumo from May until September this year. He brings more than a decade of experience in the online trading industry.
Prior to joining Zumo, Plummer worked at IG Group for over seven and a half years. Joining as a Technical Specialist in Trading Services, Plummer became the Head of Integrated Trading Platforms at IG Group before being appointed as the Head of Platform Innovation in July 2017 until his departure from the London-headquartered online trading platform.
The appointment of Plummer to the role of the Head of Product Strategy at the London-based firm is the latest in a series of management changes at Capital.com.

Vlad Khandros has exited his role as Head of Corporate Development at Trumid to start the role of Chief Executive Officer at OneChronos.

Khandros will become the Chief Executive Officer of OneChronos Capital Markets, a subsidiary of OCX Group Inc, and will report to Kelly Littlepage, the Co-Founder and CEO of OneChronos.
Khandros left Trumid after a little under two years at the electronic bond-trading platform headquartered in New York.

CME Group (NASDAQ: CME) has enhanced its management team with two new appointments.
Paul Woolman has taken over the post of Global Head of Equity Index Products having previously joined CME Group as the Senior Director, Head of EMEA Equity Products and Alternative Investments in 2016. With over two decades of experience in equity derivatives, Woolman, prior to joining CME Group (NASDAQ: CME), served as the Delta One Equity Derivatives Trading Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 11 years.
Additionally, Giovanni Vicioso has been appointed as the Global Head of Cryptocurrency Products having joined the CME Group as the Senior Director of Equity Products in 2012. Previously, Vicioso served as the Vice President at RBC Capital Markets’ Equity Derivatives Group on their OTC Equity Derivatives desk and brings more than three decades of experience from the financial industry.

Match-Trade Technologies has changed its leadership role in senior management with the appointment of Michał Karczewski as the Chief Executive Officer.
Located in Poland, he was the Chief Operating Officer of the company and became a part of the firm in January 2017, according to his Linkedin profile.
Match-Trade is a technology provider in the forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) space, providing turnkey solutions to companies that offer spot market access to retail and institutional traders.

Mohanad Yakout departed his post as the Market Analysis Manager from the online trading platform provider, PU Prime.
In fact, Yakout has been hired as the Global Head of Market Research at One Pro Global, a Mauritius-based trader-focused fintech company.
He has been heading PU Prime’s market research in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) from September 2021 until March this year when he was appointed to the position of Market Analysis Manager.
In Yakout’s new role, he will be based in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, and will report to OnePro Global’s Chief Marketing Officer.

Chris Mills has departed the UK Bank of England (BoE) after 18 years of service.
Mills joined the apex bank in 2004 in customer relations and accounts management. He announced his exit on Friday.
He disclosed that he will be joining the executing broker, JB Drax Honoré to pursue his interest in the emerging cryptocurrency industry.
